I’m looking at purchasing a 4-wheeler sometime soon, possibly one from a friend of a friend, the only thing is, is that he’s not sure of his selling price. Does any body no what a polaris 500, 2006, with 1500 miles would roughly go for.

I would say around $3000-$3500 depending on shape. If it has a winch, closer to the $3500, if not, then around 3G’s

    Any accessories?

    EFI or carbureted?

    Mud driven or pretty clean?

    Lots of variables……….

I think your low G, based on what I’m seeing locally.

I was going off what this dealer is asking for a comparable 500, with a plow…. $3999….. a friend of a friend, should be a little lower than a dealer…. I would think

I own 3 polaris machines: one is a 92 the other a 05 500 and a 09 550. I wouldnt buy a newer machine that wasnt efi. If i was to sell my 05 500 I would ask 3500 with a winch and a plow, that rig has been babied, I use it for trail rides and thats about it. Its my 92 that takes a beating, but its still runing. Bottom line the EFI is a huge deal with the newer machines

I’m not 100% sure but I think it is an EFI, but as far as the miles and condition. Most miles were put on the sioux line trail, but it was also used for plowing snow for 2 winters. Otherwise the body is in good shape.

I bought my ’04 Arty 500 with 1000 miles last year for $3000. I think you should be easily okay in the $3500 range.
