Not much going on with this forum so I thought I may as well throw out a report. Rode around Spooner this weekend. Trails were very good. As always they need some additional increments of snow but they were intact and smooth. The cold weather really had them firm. They were perfect for my setup. Had a little “incident” Friday night that required a recovery mission but it worked out with repairs made on Sat morning. Going back up this weekend but not too excited about 30 degree temps. My wife and I prefer single digits above and below zero for riding.

    Thanks for the report Suzuki,

I went sledding up around Grand Rapids with my Dad and a few uncles Saturday. The trails were great! Very nicely groomed with no washboard or bare spots. We went just over 190miles for the day but holy cat’s was that cold out!

    Thanks for the report Suzuki!

I was thinking of a Danbury/Webb Lake adventure maybe one of these weekends!

Update:That warm spell really wacked the trails on Sat. I wont even consider going again in the area without more snow. More warm temps coming. I hope the season isnt over.
Rode 111 miles last Friday afternoon and 166 on Sat. Made it to Iron River. Lake affect snow hardly even noticable. I dont think they have gotten much on south shore. The fun is just starting. I hate to see it end anytime soon.
