Polaris Snowmobile Electric Start ? HELP

    Can anyone tell me the difference between these 2 electric start kits? I have a ’01 Polaris Indy Sport 550 fan cooled. I found electric start out of 600 RMK at a salvage yard. Would like to kow if this would work in my sled

    Different blocks, so mounting would be different bolt pattern

    I would guess the second one listed would fit your machine. It should fit all Gen2 fan engines, minus the 340.

    Found out it is the mounting bracket for the starter is different. I will keep looking for the right one. Thanx for the help guys
