I’ve looked online, but everyone wants $30.00 for a maint manual for my machine. I’ll pay it, if I have to, but there must be a source out there for less than that???

Oh, I could download it for a mere $54.99 also.

Clymer has manuals that range from $20-$30 each. They generally cover multiple year & models. Not for just a specific machine.I picked up a couple for different manufacturers through 1 e-bay seller for around $20 each, shipped right to my doorstep. This was about 5 years ago but I did a bit of searching & they are still running about the same price.Hope this helps & best of luck.

Kooty, not sure what you’re looking for in the manual but I broke the front axle on my ’06 800 Sportsman deer hunting and was able to find everything I needed to fix it online. Moon Motors in Monticello also helped in getting the parts I needed.

Or are you just saying that you are really hard on stuff and you know your going to need that manual to fix all your screwups.

Lubrication schedules, simple things like how to change coolant, air filter replacement. Just your standard, day to day maintenance stuff.

This is my first time…So I want to do it right.

My fear is I’ll be hard on it because of my lack of knowledge. Otherwise, I typically don’t wreck too much stuff.

Become a member on “ATV connection”. The Polaris forum is fantastic!! Any question on that machine can be found in the search function. If not, ask and someone will respond quickly. It’s a great atv site….it’s like IDO for atv’s. Did that machine come with a owners manual?? If not, polaris.com…you can download the owners manual. It has all the schedualed maintenance, grease(zerk) locations, what lubs to use in each location…etc. The owners manual is very helpful on polaris machines.

Scroll over to “Riders”, scroll down to “parts and manuals”. You have to create an account but that’s quick and painless.
