A buddy of mine has a older well used 250 Explorer and wanted to get new CV joints. He was told he could not get the joints, and that he had to replace both shafts for $600!!!! 
Does this sound right? Any options. No..I don’t want to hear “He should have bought a Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki.”
