I’m trying to decide between one or the other. I have no intention of trail riding/pleasure riding this rig. It will strictly be a deer hunting and ice fishing machine. I’m looking for input from people that have owned both or have one or the other. Where I deer hunt a standard 4 wheeler will not get where I need to go.
For ice fishing I currently use my studded sled. I ONLY use the sled for ice fishing and want to get something more duel purpose.
The Argo seems to be where I’m leaning, but the ground clearance is a major issue because of the terrain where I hunt. (even an Argo with tracks) The party I hunt with uses a machine called and “otter” or “ranger”. The machines were/are used in the logging industry. These machines work perfectly for the hunting application but are very heavy and don’t lay out well for ice fishing.
