Well, for the first time in my life… rolled the wheeler . Was having difficulty dragging and pulling in all the weeds of our riding arena. Wife told me to go out there and just tear around. Did this a couple weeks ago when we still had a little snow. Whipping around and gunning it was a fun way to dig up some of the growth. Well, was dry out there today. I took it a little easier than I did before… but that apparently wasn’t enough. Coming around the north end, I started the turn, leaned heavy to the left… and started in on the gas. This is a new wheeler (07 800 cc ploaris with about 14 hours). Got in on the gas and the tires with excellent traction kicked in and got me way off base. Left side came off the ground and it was too late on the turn to hit the brake. Wheeler tipped over and I barely kept anything of value (of me) from being pinned underneath. Got a couple good cherry’s on my leg… I have a bad back of which I spent a week in the hospital last fall and has been been hurting as well recently. Well, nice aggravated injury to the back. Other than that, thanking God it wasn’t worse. Was just a dumb move on my part. Back hurts quite a bit right now. Tipped the wheeler back over and called it a day. I guess that will teach me. Certainly didn’t think a 800lb wheeler would tip so easy. I didn’t think I was being so careless… guess I will know better next time.
Just Rolled…
