I have a 800 Polaris four wheeler and I am having problems using it for ice fishing. I live on the lake and their are huge snow drifts now and I can only use a lake access next to my house because it is illegal to run down the road.
How does putting wide tracs on a four wheeler work for pulling a 6×14 ice shanty with wheels on ice or snow. I have aggressive ice chains on it now but I get hung up getting on the lake even with out the shanty where it has drifted near the edge. Or I get stuck in some drifts on the lake unless I really keep the speed up.
Can they work on straight ice? How do they turn on a cement driveway?
