Auger mounted to ATV ideas

Looking for ways to mount my auger to my wheeler. I have a couple ideas but figured I would throw a post out before I did anything.. How about a vex anyone mount vexilars to there wheelers or snow mobiles for ice out conditions?

I made my own out of flat bar at first, then switched to alum for the next one. I will post pics when I get home

Clam sells a bolt on model.

I have the clam bolt on model. Works very well through some very bumpy conditions. Reeds has them cheap this time of year.

I wanted to keep my front box on the machine as well as still keep the bike so that I could put a cover on it when trailering so I made some framework to put a Mad Dog rack on. It works fairly well but bolting square tubing to round tubing does allow a certain amount of twist. I have something slightly different in mind that I’m going to for next year, but something like this might work for you.

I ended up going with the Digger Auger mount and boy am I glad I did, it’s rock solid!

I used to mount my auger across the front rack, but now bought the Kolpin Stronghold system that mounts to the rear corner freeing up the front and most of the rear racks. I also bought the rifle / shotgun case for carrying a gun. Now all we need is ice.

I will be purchasing this auger mount as well. Everyone who buys one raves about it and I think it is superior in design to any of the others that I have seen. Plus it can be used on a snowmobile as well as an ATV, which makes it that much nicer.
