i decided to buy a new sled last october and i am really glad I did. took 4 major trips, 1 to the UP and 3 to N WI. got over 1400 miles on and really got myself excited to go again next year. one regret is I did not ride around here in Hudson. next year for sure. let’s get together for some local riding next year if we don’t have to wait until Feb to get some decent snow.
Sounds fun. I, too, got back into snowmobiling this year. Unfortunately, I waited until last weekend to buy them. But, I did take advantage of some great prices and put together a nice two sled/trailer package for the family.
smart man. i bought a 2012 demo. only had 100 miles on it that a shop mechanic put on it. saved almost 3 grand off list. i heard it was awesome around Hayward late. we were east of there over by Fifield and had the best riding of the year.
Wow! I am surprised somebody else knows where Fifield is. We use a neighbors camp there. Been a few years since I have had a sled but we fish there a couple time a year. The trails are almost at the end of the driveway.
I had some good times sledding this year. Missed some too.
Flambeau river used to be my favorite place to fish. It’s dropped off the last 3 years. We base out of 9 Mile. Price County has great trails
