I’m a tad skeptic about how this digger brand mount will work out when out in sub zero weather. I could put a total of 5 bolts with a little dremel work to the inside ridges of the pre-molded plastic top.

I’d appreciate hearing from other ice headz that may have seen someone try this. Bone head move and look to make a unique bracket that gets steel (ATV front push bar) attached to aluminum (bracket) equating to no give? That’s the direction I’m leaning.

For some reason I don’t see this pre-molded lids as being a cheap item.

Thanks in advance! 27 degrees here in Kasson. Won’t be long now….

Kurt, I know nothing about ice augers and even less about ATV’s.

Does the auger have to be in a open rack like you have? I was wondering if you couldn’t get a large (8″ or 10″)PVC tube and slide the auger in? You could hold it in with a bungee cord. I would think it would be easier to mount the tube flush then the rack above.

Sorry if it’s a dumb idea, I don’t know how those things are set up.

Here’s what a Digger brand aluminum bracket looks like.

I see the front plastic lid can be purchased for a measly 96 bones.

Looks like I better get busy designing an angle iron that comes off the front (steel) push guards.

You need to purchase a wrench and ride for a Polaris atv. Go to Diggers web site.
