We added another F series twin spar to the neighborhood stable last weekend . New neighbor Ben was pressured/shamed into buying one since the trail is a block from our houses. That makes the 4th F – We now have a F5, 2 F6’s and an F8 within 6 houses of me….With a 550 Arctic Cat Cougar in one of the non F houses.

Just an FYI, if you’re looking for a Cat in a 600 (new holdover), they’re VERY tough to find. Cat didn’t build a 600 2 stroke this year so the ’11 and ’10 F6’s are a hot item right now. Also, used sled prices are up 15 to 20 percent in comparison to last year at this time.

Has anyone else brought their sleds home from storage already? – Me too…. – Think SNOW

Just started thinking about bringing them home. Usualy I swap the boat for sleds but I’m not ready to quite fishing yet. I was thinking of a new sled this year but now I will problaby just go through mine again this fall and run it another year. Luckily my wifes sled is low mileage.

Not out of storage yet but I’ve been thinking about when to drag them home. The first dusting of snow should push me over the edge.

I sold both sleds last spring. I’m wondering how I’ll feel about that when the first snow flies.

That’s the hideous thing about sledding. The first snow gets you all amped up but it takes time before its really decent on the major trail systems. Its about time we had a long stretch of rideable snow. I dont like being forced to ride constantly for 3 weeks because conditions are finally good. Would rather spread it out and alternate between ice fishing and sledding over a longer period of time. Either way looking forward to some snowmobiling!
