Looking at a 1993 artic cat pantera 580(snowmobile).
Was looking if anyone had any experience with these machines. pro’s & con’s.how much it might be worth in great condition.(kelly’s blue book is $745)Probally keep it up at the lake,due some fishing/cruising.

If it were me, I wouldn’t pay more than 500.00 for any ’93 sled.
In ’93 the Pantera was a 550cc EFI. Those were the battery operated EFI systems, so if the battery went dead for any reason the sled is dead. There were lots of problems with the early EFI models.
Even if you get it for a cheap price, if something goes wrong with only the EFI system you’ll run into big expenses and possibly no parts for that model anymore. Just the ECU are over $2000.
I would shy away myself.
