How are trax on near glare ice. I plan on pulling a 2000 lb fish house trailer. Or should I put the tires with rear chains back on.

Tires and chains will get it done. But since you have the tracks on already I’m sure it will work. I pulled a 4100lb ice castle out with a polaris ranger with no chains the other weekend.

Depends on the barometric pressure and how well your seams are sealed. lol!

Just so you know, my pressures are way off, and my seams leak like a siv.

Seems like trax would spin easily on glare ice. Unstudded sleds sure do. If you have rough ice or patches of stuck on snow you might be fine.

My Camoplasts are already pre-drilled/holed for studs so it might be easier to put in some screws than swap for tires and chains. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of fishing on glare ice where I live so can’t answer the original question.

Well, I had her out this past weekend and the added tounge weight of the trailer gave me good traction using tracks without studding. Steering was not as responsive but hey, I had the whole lake to turn. I did strap my deep cycle battery to the front rack on my return and steering was much better.
