I often post about this ride. Unlce Mike’s Bar and Grill in Trego Wi is sponsoring an ATV Poker Run this Sat starting at 11:00am
The run will hit numerous location all the way up to Hayward and back. This is the longest ride of the year. They avg 3 rides per year.
If anyone is interested feel free to PM me if you have questions. My wife and I are planning to go unless its raining bad. We skipped the last one because of rain and it ended up being the biggest turnout to date but mostly UTV’s. These rides are always interesting and usually very fun.

How many miles is the run? Maybe the FW will let me take off for the day…

I generally skip these type of rides because most folks don’t ride fast enough for my liking. smirk

Not sure on miles. I know a gas stop is critical on this ride so, that far.
Sometimes it can plod along. Or you can splinter off with others and ride to the next stop fast. I always try to ride near the front because the aggressive riders are there BUT you are responsible for the person behind you so there is that. Usually my wife and I skip the last bar and fly home to let the dogs out then meet at UM’s for the poker draw. The main reason I stick with the group is because I dont know where I am. Its tricky knowing the side roads that connect trails. I think you would have more fun is your FW was with you.

ps-Dont think I am taking the Raptor. ( Too much deep water on this run.

Deep water and sport quads are what makes trail riding fun, don’t worry about that! Heck, I don’t even have an airbox lid on mine.

With a new one at home, it makes it almost impossible for the FW and I to get out at the same time. Plus she wanted to go back to handlebars so we sold her SXS and will be replacing it this fall when used prices go down a bit.

We took a trip last summer together in the SXS and left my quad at home. I almost fell asleep in the passenger seat, even when taking corners at 35-40mph. Those things are plush, comfy and you can ride them all day long with almost zero fatigue…but there’s just something about whipping a machine around corners that you can’t get in a SXS. Not to mention the accomplished and dead tired feeling you get after a 150 mile day on an ATV.
