What is the best over the counter auger mount for an ATV rack? Seen a few real nice custom ones. Just want to order one.

    Thanks,

I used the Mad Dog one for years. While functional it was a bit of a PITA to use trying to thread the velcro straps with cold hands and wind.

The Digger is the real deal in my opinion. It’s rock solid, literally takes 5 seconds to secure an auger and easy to remove for the off season.

Matt posted a link to the one I was thinking of, Jon. Your link looks like the same one with added accessories.

I’m aso looking for one. Matt’s posting looks good and cheaper, but what is mounted to the outside right upright?

but what is mounted to the outside right upright?

A portion of the auger head (gear box maybe) rests on that for added support.

I have used a digger mount on my atv. Works real well, never an issue easy on and off

I got the cheaper digger and it works great on most augers, but not with a kdrill. Haven’t figured out a way to use it.

They are apparently working on a larger adapter for the reason you are having issues. I contacted them after I purchased my mount because I have a quick connect coupler with extension on my strikemaster and the diameter of the coupler is too big to fit in the cradle.
They told me they are working on a design for the k drill. Perhaps email them and see if they are done yet and they will likely send you one.
