I’m looking to upgrade my atv. See lots of dealers have the cfmoto. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I went into the store and started looking at the Can-Am 2 man atv. My wife and I used my buddies Can-Am one weekend and she loved it. The sales person saw me looking at the Can-Am and when I said it was more than I had cash for he pushed me to the Cfmoto. It was half the price but looked like half the quality. I went home and did some research on Cfmoto. It had some good reviews but most of that was because of price. Cfmoto has been out of a while and I am sure if you Google it you will find some reviews. I didn’t buy one.

I have seen a handful of them on the trail. The one person I talked to that owned one said they really liked it. I’m still a skeptic on them, but there really aren’t too many negative reviews out there. The dealer network seems to really be expanding and they offer consumer direct parts via their online catalog. I don’t think you’ll ever find one in my garage, but most reviews are positive and customers seem to be happy with their purchase.

When you buy an ATV, you are, to an extent, paying for the name. Obviously some mfg’s are better than others, but the price usually depicts that (see CFMoto vs Can-Am). I’ve owned Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Can-Am and Honda machines. My garage currently has Kawasaki and Honda, but my next purchase will most likely be a Textron. They all have their ups and downs, some more than others *cough*Polaris*cough*. whistling

Pretty much every mfg makes a decent machine, buy the one that fits your budget and needs and ride the crap out of it! Don’t let someone at the trailhead riding a brand new $28,000 Can-Am talk down to you because you Bought a Honda or CFMoto, it’s not their money or decision.

I currently have a Yamaha grizzly, but need to upgrade for tax reasons. Love my grizzly, hate the update cost for another one!

personally i own a can-am outlander 500 2 up seat and absolutely love it. changed oil and filters and a new battery. have had it for 12 years. i would do it again. the wife and i decided we wanted the 2 up seat also!!!!

previously owned a yamaha kodiak and that was a good machine and would of bought another one. the customer service at the dealership stunk it up so a walked out. i had bought the first one there.

I don’t know where the CFmoto’s are price wise but I have a 2016 Yamaha Kodiak 700. Bought new. No power steering, no spedo etc. The most basic model they have, but for the money, I’ve been more then happy. You can find them new for cheap if you do a little research.
