I have seen a handful of them on the trail. The one person I talked to that owned one said they really liked it. I’m still a skeptic on them, but there really aren’t too many negative reviews out there. The dealer network seems to really be expanding and they offer consumer direct parts via their online catalog. I don’t think you’ll ever find one in my garage, but most reviews are positive and customers seem to be happy with their purchase.
When you buy an ATV, you are, to an extent, paying for the name. Obviously some mfg’s are better than others, but the price usually depicts that (see CFMoto vs Can-Am). I’ve owned Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Can-Am and Honda machines. My garage currently has Kawasaki and Honda, but my next purchase will most likely be a Textron. They all have their ups and downs, some more than others *cough*Polaris*cough*.
Pretty much every mfg makes a decent machine, buy the one that fits your budget and needs and ride the crap out of it! Don’t let someone at the trailhead riding a brand new $28,000 Can-Am talk down to you because you Bought a Honda or CFMoto, it’s not their money or decision.
