    6 below this morning

That is a heat wave. I’m over in Aitkin right now and it is -25 degrees w/ no wind right now at 7 AM. I have NOT went out to the trailer yet, to see if my Arctic Cat will start. I need to haul it into town and fuel it up first anyway. I can just about guarantee that it will crank over but the fuel pump relay won’t close and make contact. I have a spare relay which be pre-warmed in my pocket. waytogo

Just as a side note, I used my ATV last night around 6 PM to tow both a Polaris and a Grizzly (is that a Polaris also?) off the lake. Neither one would start and one of the guys walked off the lake and up the road to my friends house where I am visiting for the week.

After reading about the problems with EFI I think I will keep my old 1996 400 Polaris Sportsman. Starts no matter how cold or how long she sits.

waytogo waytogo I have a ’95 Polaris Sportsman 400. ALWAYS starts no matter how cold it is. That’s the only thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger on a new/newer one. I think I’ll keep that machine around so long as I’m ice fishing.
