I just bought a new glacier explorer fish House with hydraulics (first wheelhouse) will be used as a camper in the summer
Just curious what everyone does when they got there fish house home for a couple weeks in below 0 weather Do you just park it or do you keep it plugged in the whole time to keep batteries charged? Or is keeping it plugged in hard on batteries?

I have a smaller ice castle, but what I’ve read is once plugged in it will charge to capacity, then go to trickle/maintain mode. Me I am going to leave mine plugged in. DK.

If you leave it plugged in, which I do a lot, you are going to want to check the water levels in your batteries every couple months. Fill with distilled water if low.

That would be entirely dependent on the type of batteries. A lot of folks are using AGMs so they do not have to worry about checking and maintaining the water level.

For proper charging and maintaining lead acid based batteries you really need to pay close attention and read how the charger actually operates. Be sure to check if the charger first goes to a fast charge and then to a much much slower maintenance charge to keep battery full/topped off. Not all chargers operate the same same. It is a good practice even though it may cost a bit more to stick with OEM equipment. Now that does not mean that there is not good stuff out there but if your knowledge is limited not a bad idea..
