Sorry if this has been brought up before. Anyone have any experience with this line? Good? Bad? Otherwise?

    Thanks!

I really liked the ASSO line. It is some of the thinnest line that I have ever used. I have been using some of the 1 and 2lb test on palm rods. Very thin line, and very accurate with pound test break strength.

ASSO is a very good mono and Kong is on the money for performance. I personally use GAMMA lines, which IMO give similar performance, but that’s a preference thing only.

Have not used the fluoro line, only the mono… that said, it won’t hurt to give it a try since price is right, that 3lb yellow would be the one I’d be looking at myself.

I have only used the mono too. However, just looking at it you will be getting 55 yards. that is about half of what you get on a normal pony spool (100 yrds). With how thin the line is you will need to back it with something if you want it to sit right on most reels.

I’ve been using it for a few years for ice fishing. I am using the ASSO Heavy ice in 3# yellow. I really like it. Never had a problem with it. I really like it for fishing real deep water 50′ plus. Seams it doesn’t have the stretch regular mono has and can feel the bite better.

I also use the asso heavy ice, I believe for 5 years, and love it.
