    ….this is the end. Of the ice fishing on Lake Zumbro. Yesterday at this time the lake was maybe 5″ above winter pool. Right now its over 2 1/2′ above summer pool. The Zumbro River below the Silver Lake Dam is running pretty heavy as is Cascade Creek immediately behind out house. Given the amount of open water on the lake before last weekend, this high water should spell the end of ice fishing for the season.
