    I just got my lake trout mount back from Artistic Anglers and once again their work was awesome I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a taxidermist…

    Nice, X2 on Artistic Anglers. Had them do a muskie mount a few years back and I am very happy with it.

    Wow, that’s a good looking Mount. I am curious, since there was a post about someone upset with a kid taxidermist, how long did it take?

    Just to be clear, is this a “Replica” ? The other one with the issues, was a skin mount I believe….

    Looks like a skin mount to me and it Looks AWESOME !!!

    It’s a skin mount (she wouldn’t release)…It took about 14 or 15 months…he told me it would take at least a year with a fish that size…I don’t mind the wait, it doesn’t feel like as much money when you can just throw a little away each month for it…

    Very Nice….. love the paint work for sure!

    Good local guy that has done my mounts once said trout and salmon take a bit longer to make sure all the oils are out of the fish.
