What are some good artificial soft baits to use for rigging for walleyes?

I would use real leeches or crawlers….but if I had to rig plastics I would probably start with a neon green moxie. But I would also probably put it on a jig and fish some rocks for smallies/eye’s.

The uncle Josh pork worms have worked as well or better than real crawlers for me in the past. Great on a lindy rig.

I have never really had luck with plastics on jigs, so I never really gave them a chance. That all changed last year when I watched a buddy hammer walleyes from shore with a lead color jig and a 4″ Walleye Assassin soft plastic. After I switched I start catching some as well. I now use Walleye Assassins religiously and usually have luck. The size is much better overall as well. Either they are amazing baits or seeing them work just got my confidence up and thus more time with them. Either way, they’re the first thing I use when casting for eyes!

This has by far been the best color for me.
