There is a bait/gas station on the right side going north, about 2 blocks north of the liquor store.

Are you up here as well? I’m fishing out of tower to. The cennex before town has small and medium suckers for real cheap and fat heads,
Then you also have the gas station bait shop in town.
I had a few really good days out here so far, but after the last 2 windy days im struggling.

I’m at cabin in Embarrass. I haven’t fished yet but I think we’ll try this afternoon for a bit after storm passes. I’ve never fished this end of the lake before.
Well i slept in today, but im gearing up to go try again.
Yesterday I couldn’t put fish in my boat to save my life. It was one of the more difficult days I’ve had in a long time.
I hope you guys do good.

I could of swore weather report said rain about 11-2 but it looks nice out and doesn’t say that now
We’ll be out in a couple hours. Don’t expect a good report from me lol
Well we redeemed our selves and brought home some fish today, dragging crawlers worked for us

I think we went out at peak wind. I tried to find a spot behind an island but I’ve never been here and don’t know where to go. Marked some fish behind some islands east of seven sisters but of course they weren’t somewhere actually blocked by the island. Tried fishing a bit but it was impossible to control boat and girlfriend wrapped 50 ft of braid around the prop. After getting that off I called it a day

What kind of boat do you fish out of? I seen a boat i think lowe with a dog like yours. If that was you I was in the black tiller boat in the wind. We did really good
Bearcat could you give some info on bait, depth, type of structure etc? Coming up Wednesday and Thursday to give it a shot

My trip started out dragging cranks off rock points never really going deeper then 12 maybe 15 ft, we were catching a mix of walleye and small mouth.
Then the wind came for 2 or 3 days and I was struggling to catch anything. After alot of exploring and trial and error we started pulling snells about 8 ft long with a plain red hook and a chunk of crawler, also lindy rigs with all sorts of colors on bottom bouncers. Between 25 and 30 ft of water. 1mph but we were battling wind. And speed varried alot between .6 and 1.5.
The plain snell produced 3 to 1 over the lindy. My son and i limited out in a hour and a half yesterday. Then I took the lady friend and her daughter out and we did the same.
Our deep fishing was between birch point, moose Island, and isle of pines. That was our most productive spots of the entire trip. But the wind was wicked.
Thank you! Really good info there. Looks like the wind will cooperate a lot better for me. Let you know how I do
