Are fish leader-shy?

    I have found times that fish are completely leader shy, in clear waters and open water fishing. I have never used a leader when ice fishing so I have no opinion. Not sure why this would be any different though. The wire leaders can completely change to action of a bait. Some days it does not matter.

    How do you attach your leader? What size wire?
