Well, got a new toy today.

Well, I had no intention of buying a new toy. I was fully content rigging up my old rig. Until I walked into the dealer and he says,

“Wade, I was just thinking of you. I took in this 2013 Elite Answer, excellent condition, just two hours ago. $400 with new string/cable.”

The guy came in wanting new string/cable for his answer but decided to trade up for an Energy 32.

I got out of the shop with just my bow. Then I made the mistake of telling the fiance what I did. She told me get on the phone immediately and tell my dealer to put a sold sign on the Answer. She even said she would put $100 towards it. She is so good to me.

So I now have an older bow with shiny new strings and a new bow (in snow camo) on the way with shiny new strings.

Thats a great looking bow! I have heard good things about Elite bows from friends If you are upgrading multiple years, regardless of brand; I believe you will be very impressed with the performance.

This bow was one of my top choices when I went looking last year. LOVE the snow camo pattern. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, it will work year round. Just look at Lucas’s pictures from out west.

Thanks, I am pretty pumped. I really like the snow camo. It is still unique at this point. I am sure someday it’ll be common.

Here is the 2003 Browning Ambush XB I am upgrading from. Pre and post new strings and rest.

I cannot wait to get it to league night. The difference in technology and feel will be mind boggling.

Just look at the cams alone. It’s amazing how different they are. My 97 ish Browning in the basement look like it has baby cams compared to the Bowtech.

You are gonna love this bow!!! You thought you shot well before, well, I think you’ll be surprised how much nicer these new bows shoot. Enjoy!!

That is a an awesome rig. I hunted with a buddy out in NoDak who shoots one, and I was genuinely impressed when I let a few fly. If I remember correctly the draw cycle was great and the cams weren’t jumpy in the slightest. The back wall was pretty rock solid too!

Congrats on the new bow, that is one sweet looking rig! A good friend of mine bought an Elite late last year (not sure which model) and really likes it allot. Sounds like you got a steal of a deal!

Talk about night and day difference. Picked up the 2013 Elite Answer today. Not sure I love the orange d-loop and rest cord I had installed. That is the only negative thing I have to say after the first 60 arrows. WOW that thing shoots.
