Mathews Bow question

I have a Mathews Reezen, trying to figure out for sure what the draw length is. I know I can get my questions answered at the pro shop but they are closed tonight.

The sticker on the limb says 60/26 I was told that the 60 is 60lbs draw weight and the 26 is the draw length. On the cam it says RZN 6.5 – 27.5.

Is the 27.5 the max draw length and with the sticker at 26 is that what my bows draw length is set at? How much adjustment is there in a Mathews bows draw length?

Steve the 6.5 is the Brace height. The 27.5 is the draw length.
To change the draw length you would have to swap cams.

That makes sense, so then what is the 26 on the sticker on the limb that says 60/26? I am pretty sure the 60 is the draw weight.

Did you buy the bow new? The bow new was a 60lb 26 inch draw.
The Bow shop probably put the 27.5 cam on for you when you bought it?

I bet that is it as I did buy the bow used from Archery Headquarters.

Every answer was correct. 60 lb limbs and a 27.5″ draw length with that cam. All of these bows seem so complex and intimidating at first glance. I have gained a little bit of knowledge by being an annoying pain in the rattling off questions anytime I am in the pro shop. It also helps to look at each component individually and identify its’ purpose.

The stamp being 60 is max draw weight for the limb. That doesn’t mean it’s set to 60. If you wanted to go beyond 60 you’d have to buy a higher rated set of limbs ie. a 70 stamped set. The 26 is the draw length of the stock cam that came with the bow. All cams are stamped as well so your current cam was swapped out. My advice is to find the nearest mathews dealer and get to know the guys that work there, mathews trains there employees to know there brand front and back. Also the reezen is a great bow!
