My 10-yr old son’s birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I’d like to get him a compound bow package that he can use to target shoot now and when he’s a little older use to deer hunt. That means the bow will need a draw weight of around 20 lbs now and be able to turn up to at least 30, preferably more.

I’m thinking my choices are slim, with the Bear Apprentice 2 being at the top of the list. This bow has a draw weight range of 15-60 lbs.

Are there any other suggestions out there?

You can also check out the Mathews Mission series. Couple years back I bought mission menace came with sight whisker biscuit, d-loop, and quiver for 299.00. I’m sure they have something still available

I second the infinite edge. We have several in stock and if you would like to shoot one come on down. Draw Length adjustment from 18″-30″ and draw weight from 5#-70#. They come as a package with sight, quiver and rest. Good deal for under $400.00

bought my 2 daughters each a mission craze last year. draw weight range of 15-70 and length of 19-30 it’s a smaller bow and seems to fit them well now and should fit them for a long time. they were $299 plus about another $100 to get it set up.

I finally picked up my daughters bow this weekend I have been looking for a used craze for so long I had to give up. I ended up buying brand new one. I had it set up so she has to shoot with a release. We couldn’t be any happier, No comes the fun part of PRACTICE, PRACTICE and some more. should be a fun late summer/ fall!
