    Good evening all!

The lovely fiance teamed up with my parents to get me a sizable gift card to a local bow shop to put towards a new bow. I had been mentioning that I wanted a new bow for a long time and that when I got one it would most likely be a Mathews. She took it as a hint (it wasn’t ) and got the gift card for a dealer that sells Mathews and Mission bows.

I haven’t had time to go shoot any, and at this point I plan on waiting until the end of season anyways as I don’t have the time to get comfortable with a new bow in time to hunt this year. I am leaning towards the Z7 Extreme based upon the overwhelming satisfaction that several of my friends have with this bow. Does anyone have any reviews they are willing to share about this bow, as well as the HeliM and/or any of the Mission bows?

I want a 2011 Mathews Z7! Mathews made some changes from the ’11 to the 2012. For me personally, I liked the feel of the 2011 better. I snoozed last year when the went on clearance for the 2012’s and they were gone!
Most of the manufactures have all produced some very quality equipment over the last few years. I’ld do your homework on the 3 or 4 models that your interested in and shoot them all. When you find yourself comparing all of them to a certain one, you found what you want.
Your a Lucky man. I just bought Olivia a Mathews. All I can say is WOW.

I have had Hoyt in the past but decided to go mathews this time. I purchased a Z7 extreme because of the short axle to axle. I did shoot the Heli M and liked the Z7 better. I also shot some pse and Hoyt and I ended up with the Z7 in the end. also in the first week I had it I got 2 robinhoods so the bow is deadly accurate and very smooth. ultimately the choice is whatever feels the best to you let us kknow what you get.

The original Mission Eliminator was the best bow Ive ever shot. Fast, quiet, and incredibly accurate. It’s just as good as a Mathews without the high price tag.
