Anyone have an experience or knowledge of these bows? I by no means shoot competition or 3’D shoots just back yard beer drinking and heavy use in the fall.I am curious how they hold up overall in the field getting banged around and how quiet they work. I know it is a side kick of Mathews and they look to be a well built bow.

I am hoping to run to Archery Headquarters in the next week or 2 and test drive one of these. Just deciding between used bow or buy a new one at a reasonable cost. Thanks

    Erick:

When I bought my last Matthews, I was shooting/buying side-by-side with another guy who basically blind-tested each bow on the shelf. He walked out with a Mission because it fit him best, and he liked it the most. Price wasn’t a problem for him, he just plain liked the feel and fit of the Mission better.

Im not one for bashing things…but i wouldnt take my garbage to archery head quarters let alone buy something from them.

Id shoot all the bows you can in your price range and go from there. Schaffers in burnsville is a mathews dealer and they have hoyt as well. Ive done buisness with them as well as coyote creek in rochester, but they are not a mathews dealer.

I normally go through magnum Sports. I just plan to buy the bow itself from there ,and after that take care of everything else on my own. Thanks for the heads up though.

Just bought my 10 year old a Mission Craze in the spring. It is a pretty sweet bow. I had the pro shop set me one up to so I could get a feel for it and I liked it. For some one that is just starting or looking for a mid range bow I think the mission bows are fine

    Erick,

I have a Mission Eliminator and really like it. As Joel mentioned I went into Shaffers and shot everything on the racks. In the end I liked the feel of the Mission best. The price tag didn’t hurt when making the decision too. I would not have a problem recommending one of these bows to anyone.

Another great feature is that they offer a great warranty just like Matthews bows.

Bobby used to shoot one and Red still does. Very solid bow.Tuned easy and stayed tuned. Can’t go wrong for the price range.

Erick–I have shot a Mission for the last 5 years and have had no problems. It kills deer, plenty fast, and I like the price. Bought it at Archery Headquarters with no problems. Marty and the guys there have always been helpful.
