Scott CONGRATULATIONS on your big win from all of us at Custom Jigs & Spins.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!!
I was wondering if anyone has shot the 350 or 340? I played around with the 350 a little bit, and must say I was impresssed!! I likes the smooth draw, speed, nice valley after peak weight, only thing I didn’t like was a little bit of a tunning fork viberations I think came from the cable guard but could be worked out of it. Just was seeing if anyone else has shot them and what their thoughts are I’m waiting to shoot the 340 that has the 7in brace height.
I’ve not shot the 350. However, for me the 340 would likely be my next bow if I could swing one right now.
What where your thoughts on the 340 Kooty? I’m hoping it shoots as nice as the 350.
I wish I had the cash… I thought it shot great for me. Very little vibration and quiet. I didn’t shot many arrows, but I was impressed. Got a buddy in SD that hates Bowtech now, after his 350 blew up in his hands. I keep telling him ANY bow can do this.
I have the Destroyer 340. I love this bow. I shot my brother’s 350 a bit and I couldn’t tell any difference between the two except for the draw length. I would have most likely bought the 350 had I not needed the extra inch of draw I get from the 340. I have been shooting bowtechs for I think 6 years now, I love them. My brother buys their new bow each year and is always pleased (only one he didn’t absolutely love was the general). P.S. The new Invasion shoots like a dream!
Two of my oldest friends back home just got Invasions this summer, I can’t wait to get back there and shoot one sometime.
I just bought a new D350. at the beginning of this year.
When i was first shooting it I was shooting it at about 62 pounds to get used to it. It is a 60-70 pound bow. Before this bow I have a Tomcat by bowtech. Love that bow! The speed off of the d350 is impressive. At 62 pounds with that bow I was shooting faster than the tomcat at 70lbs.
If you looking for a speed bow it has it.
I like my bow. It’s just like buying shoes, many brand and they are all made just about the same.
Good luck
What kind of speed are you getting out of it, and what are you using?

I also had the Tomkat for several years. Great bow, very smooth, forgiving, and fast! The 340 puts that bow to shame in regards to all aspects but forgiveness. Id say its faster, quieter, and smoother drawing in and out of let off. Its a little less forgiving, but Id expect that out of a faster bow. I am extremely limited to bows due to my draw length. At 6’6″ I have the wing span of a small flock of whooping cranes, and I need every bit of the 31″ draw plus a loop. I can’t give you a true perspective on the 350 due to this, but it is essentially the same as the 340 which get my
Like benny said, im sure there are several bows out there that are comparable. I just know I love my bowtechs. My dealer is a large part of it with his service and knowledge, as both an avid hunter and professional archer. I have not shot alot of the other bows on the market because of my draw length, however alot of guys around here have been switching to bowtechs (regardless of brand loyalty) lately after shooting one of our bows or a friends bows.
If you want a 340 betterget one. Bowtech is done making the 340 and will just have the 350 from now on I was told.

I got a 340 on the way!!
Congrats on the new bow! You will be happy with it Did you get the camo or black? What are you going to put on it for accessories?
I have a Z7 as well but when shooting the destroyer 350 I have to say I was impressed. I’m going with a Ripcord rest, and a Truglo micro brite 5 pin, and some CX Maxima Blue Streak 350’s with some rage broad heads should do it!!
I have no idea how someone can like the draw cycle on those. And I’m even a Btech fan! ha, ha

I’ll be very interested to shoot one. This is a 1st bow for both of them, so I’m guessing they simply don’t know good from bad. They both have WY archery tags, so hopefully they shoo well for them.
I went to go into the shop to shoot one because I had an opportunity to pick one up CHEAP! So I went in with a clear mind…”wanting” to like it. I shot it 3 times and put it back on the shelf. The arrow hits like a ton of bricks, fast, a little vibe after the shot but nothing a descent stab won’t get rid of, back wall is great, dump over into the valley not bad…but the draw, ick. Also shot the EVO, z7 xtreme and carbon element. Out of them all, EVO would get my vote. But the 3 all shot well I thought.
That is the one thing I didn’t like is the draw at peak weight is a little rough, but take it down a couple cranks and good to go!!!
