New Arrows

Wednesday after work I headed over to the favorite Bowtech dealer and got some new arrows for the year. I ended up getting the new Victory Armour Piercing arrows. Any one else out there shooting these? They are wicked little things. They are considerably thinner in their outside diameter than alot of carbon arrows on the market, about half that of the other Victory arrows I have been shooting. They have a tapered insert that slides in the end of the arrow to allow for regular field points and broad heads. The tolerances are very tight and make a very smooth transition from the arrow shaft to the insert. Did the side by side comparison with my old arrows and just like the promotional Youtube vid, they had several inches more penetration. I guess I really liked the idea of possibly being less affected by the wind, well see about that when I start doing some outside shooting before I buy that concept or not. Any one else looking at these?? (I’ll try to throw some pics up when I get a chance)

Well after almost a month of shooting them I would give them a big thumbs up and recommend them to any one interested in them. Penetration on these arrows is awesome in comparison to the other Victory arrows I was shooting. Shooting side by side to other guys’ arrows with the traditional shaft diameter these armour piercing arrows consistently have better penetration by several inches (5″ or more). My blocks are not the newest things in the world but I need to stack my targets back to back now at anything under 40 yds so I dont burry the fletchings in the target (didnt need this for my old arrows or friend’s arrows). I think ill be sticking with these arrows for a while

Good to hear! How was the price compared to other top quality arrows on the market?

I paid 140 for them. If I recall correctly, they were going any where from 140-160 online when I was searching for reviews prior to purchase.
