If you fellas would do me a favor, I’m searching around for Rocky Mountain Snyper 2 blade broadheads. They quit making them I believe late last yr roughly, so really all that there will be out there is left over stock. So if your out and about and see some, I’d appreciate it you shot me a PM or email.

    Thanks!!

Those were some great brodheads, I used my last one on a doe this year. Pretty similar to the Rage 2 blade aren’t they? I switched over to slick tricks last year, seem to fly pretty well.

They are pretty much the same….except for a slightly smaller cutting diameter and they don’t use the O ring…use a rubber band instead. From what I understand, the guy who designed these switched companies and created the Rage. So therefore no more Snyper. I was hoping to pickup a few packs before they are completely gone and if they aren’t crazy in price. If I can’t find any, not a big deal. I’ll switch to another BH. Slick tricks is a great option to go to.

Im glad i got the last 3 packs at my local archery shop I have used these heads for 9 years and am saddened that they stopped making them Rocky Mtn did sell the design to Rage and stopped making all their heads all together Once i run out of these heads, which will probably be about 2-3 years from now i will shoot Grim Reapers. But still it will be hard to beat the Snypers

    Pro,

So the chances of you letting me know about any if you find them are slim to zero? LOL!!! Good luck to us both in finding some!

Really goes to show you what advertising will do. Rocky Mtn makes the BH for years and it never becomes all that popular, then sells it to Rage, who advertises the heck out of it as their “innovative new slip-cam design” and suddenly takes over a big share of the market.

And IMO, didn’t design it as durable as the Snypers

I would like to stick with the 2 blade. There were a few packs of the 2 blade that sold on there for 40+ a pack! lol I’m not paying that for BH’s….I’ll switch to another for that. ha, ha

Rocky Mtn never made a 3 blade Snyper. I think the seller on Ebay meant “3 blade Rage”

Actually they did. The Snyper XP3 came out in 2005.

I forgot they did but after seeing them i remember seeing them on the shelves. I never knew anyone that shot them though. Now i know where the Rage 3 blade concept came into play Thanks Dennis
