Ill be surprised if Mathews doesn’t win this pole hands down. They are #1 seller in the hunting market.

When Protour gets a Mathews, I will consider it…

I looked at em, but went with HOYT, and I am happy, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be happy with a Mathews. The kid salesman (about 15) at the archery shop I went, tried to push the Mathews on me so bad, it turned me off I suspect his commission was better on the Mathews than the HOYT

I am a mathews guy now but have shot everything from an XI to a Hoyt. Only reason I have one is because I won it….anyone shoot an Elite? I will be checking them out before I purchase another bow.

Elite’s are really nice!! To me, it felt like the Alien X Very smooth, hardly any shock, and QUIET! Another bow to thin of is Strother Virtually no shock whatsoever and super quiet!

The ONLY sketchy aspect to Strother, and maybe Elite that i have heard through the grape vine is that they are going under. Thus, warranty isn’t being covered Don’t quote me on that…

Where did this rumor originate? Forums speculation?.?..?..

I’m shooting a Strothers Infinity and one would be hard pressed to find a bow in it’s category and would beat it in the different categories(draw cycle, dump over, valley, back wall, speed and how it holds). And no, no Strothers leg humping going on here. ha, ha I’ve shot and owned a PSE, Btech and Hoyt. If I wasn’t shooting the Infinity, I’d be shooting an Elite GT500. Almost pulled the trigger on getting one many, many times. And I still might.

I’d need names. Go ahead and PM those over. The chick selling hot dogs at the shoot doesn’t count. Strother…I have my doubts and I question what’s going on. IMO, Elite is going no where. They don’t need Kevin to do what they need to do. They’ve already done their damage control by offering a transferable warranty to the bow and they are advertising more and more.

I shoot a Hoyt Ultra Elite for Target. And have a Bowtech Destroyer on the way. I love the Destroyer most!
