Now I’m only 15 and I haven’t had a problem with my bow yet, but today was the first. I was shooting and the rubber band thing that is connected to my peep sight snapped! I have a hunting trip to my dads on Wednesday so this needs to get fixed. Is it expensive? And does gander mtn fix this? Thanks guys

Really cheap!! Go to gander or any bow shop. You can do it yourself. Most places would put it on for you for free though.

    Good luck

Like the others said it is very cheap. In the future I would replace it EVERY year before hunting season. Wouldn’t want that to happen at the moment of truth. Good Luck hunting!

If it broke close to the end just cut it off and reatach it. The peep sight has a small nipple on it the tubeing slides over. In the future I would get rid of that kind of peep for that very reason (it could brake when you draw on a deer next time) and get one that rotates to the correct position when you draw your bow. They are inexpensive most bow shops will install it free if you buy it from them. No more than $10. If you don’t want to change just buy a few feet of tubeing and change at least once a year. Good luck Hope it works out for You.

i agree with mike, unless you are in love with the tube peep, switch to a g5 meta peep. they are $10 and come in any size you want. i have had mine for 2 seasons now and it has yet to twist in the string. i wont hesitate to get another one on my next setup. plus you reduce the noise from that tube snapping back and increase your speed by a few fps.

Well we got good news and bad news. The good news is that Cody took me out hunting for my first time, I only got to range find but im in love forever! And even better the first morning he sniped a spiker from 15 yards! The bad news though we had 5 guys looking for it for 4 hours and we didnt even find a speck of blood, so that was a bummer, but we got a ton of partridge anyways!

And thanks for the welcome everyone!
