I can’t wait to see what these new arrows do to a deer. They simply hit so hard it’s unbelievable. Shooting my 3-d target with my old arrows I would have about 6″ of penetration just into the target. Now with the new Easton arrows I’m getting 6-10″ of penetration through the target. Unbelieveable!!

That’s a killer arrow. That’s the arrow I shot my bou’ with.

    Good luck!

do they still make the straight carbon Axis anymore instead of the N’fused?

Actually, the ST Axis N’fused is an all carbon arrow. They are infused with carbon nanotubes (whatever the hell those are).

They also make the ST Axis Full Metal Jacket which is a thin-diameter carbon wrapped in aluminum shaft (one of my favorites).

Kooty, now try a full metal jacket. They hit even harder

Ya, I’m pretty sure I’d be leaving several the range. Pieces of them anyway.

I’m a firm believer every bow will like different arrow combinations. My bow likes a very stiff shafted arrow. Not sure why, but it does. Lots of factors play into what shaft to choose for your bow. It’s great for us that we have so many awesome choices on the market today. It wasn’t long ago and you went into the store and Easton was your only real choice for a high end arrow.

My guess is he and you were either over or under spined. What size easton did you buy? What is your draw weight and arrow length?

    Easton FMJ’s are the ticket.

You should be able to make any arrow type fly with any bow, especially the FMJ’s as they are heavy. 27″ arrows out of my Z7 with a 27.5″ draw, pushing some major KE. Complete pass-thu’s on both bulls I’ve shot with them, and this year passsing through both front quarters of my bull. Best arrow I have EVER shot.

Make sure you get the right spine, and tune them, and you will be good to go!
