Haven’t seen any snow as of yet here in International Falls. Windy as all get out though. Watching my flag look as though I were trying to lure geese in. Only in Minnesota!! LOL!

April 11, 2008 at 11:52 am #673869We got about 3-5 inches in the NW metro. It was raining pretty hard when I left the house at 6. Definitely a lot less snow here in the city.
April 11, 2008 at 11:56 am #673870Could you guys send a little more water our way?
We still have one boat ramp they haven’t locked us out of.April 11, 2008 at 1:11 pm #673893I would say close to 10″ in St Cloud area, more dumping as I type this….

April 11, 2008 at 1:39 pm #673906I had about an inch of hail in my yard this morning here in south central WI
April 11, 2008 at 2:04 pm #673914Good to hear Bob. Hopefully bring the water levels up some.
We had just barely enough to cover the ground here in Blaine. Wet Stuff,I’m sure mu ch of it melted as it hit the ground.
April 11, 2008 at 2:36 pm #673931Slushy dusting here in St Paul. Lot of rain and wind. First clap of thunder was nice to hear actually…. I predict I’ll be picking crawlers out of the lawn by Tues night!

April 11, 2008 at 3:23 pm #673954I’d guess about 1-2 inches of slush in Champlin. I can see the grass under the slush.
April 11, 2008 at 3:35 pm #673957Guys:
Two inches of the four predicted for us up here in northern WI. Still predicting another 9 through the day and night into tomorrow. Lots of wind, been without power three times so far!!!

April 11, 2008 at 5:42 pm #674039That’s way too much snow for this time of the year.
Been picking crawlers for a few weeks or so now and will probably start mowing next week late.April 11, 2008 at 5:43 pm #674040Quote:

You better duck going under the bridgeApril 11, 2008 at 5:45 pm #674042Looks like 10″-12″ in millacs . water content should be around 1 in. of water to 5″ of snow so 2+ inches
April 11, 2008 at 6:16 pm #674056We got about 6 to 8 inches at my place. That on top of the 26+ last weekend. I think the lump in my yard is my boat but I’m not sure.
April 11, 2008 at 8:18 pm #67411712 on the deck at 7 this morning when i took my girlfriend to work still snowing dont know how much there is now
April 11, 2008 at 10:59 pm #674200Ya Herb ive got loads of crawlers up here too and my antique lillies are about 12″ tall. This has been one long winter for sure. Trees are budding nice but late and the grass is green from all the recent rain, it won’t be long now for you guys up north. Enjoy the river walleyes while you can.
August 3, 2010 at 2:18 pm #197054I had a friend of mine show this to me. Has anyone ever tried these?
They look pretty slick.

http://epekhunting.com/default.aspxI have never seen them before and would be willing to give it a try. What do you guys think?
August 3, 2010 at 3:23 pm #84342I’m not sure that I’m a huge fan of the rubber O ring. Though if you remembered to change it out so wear wouldn’t be an issue the the head didn’t deploy in flight, it would be a non issue. Also I’m not sure what I think about the tip, that I’d have to see in person.
I do like the design, concept and putting the head into practice mode.
I’d definitely give them a try.
August 3, 2010 at 4:34 pm #84357I’ve watched all the videos on youtube. I think it’s an interesting concept. My only concern is if the chisel point nails a hard bone, will it somehow deply faster than the blades. Meaning the blades get caught behihd the chisel point housing.
Until I see one up close, I’m intrigued. I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not afraid of trying new stuff though.
August 3, 2010 at 6:02 pm #84368Interesting, I like how the blades deploy versus having hide pull them open. Only other thing i’d like to see is a replacement tip. Have to look for these in stores to play with one.
