I have most of my arrows set up for RH Helical, but decided to try some LH Helical arrows and I can’t seem to tell any difference in performance. What is the reason we can choose LH or RH helical set ups? How should someone decide which way to fletch or is it a personal life choice of the shooter?

Personal choice. The only time it matters is if you are shooting feathers. RW feathers should use a RW helical, LW feathers should use a LW helical. Back in the day, was said that RH shooters needed to shoot RW and LH shooters needed to shoot LW, had something to do with the arrow spining away from the bow or something like that. Old wives tale…

Field points will constantly be turned out a touch with a LH helical fletch. Not that it’s a big deal as I check them after every shot anyway, but….

Not to get off topic but, I use some string wax on the threads of my field tips to prevent them from turning out. The wax is cheap and it’s always in my case anyway.
