Put a holding payment on a new bow last week. Had a friend lined up to buy my Bowtech Tomkat and my friendly dealer had a customer back out on an order. I have been waiting sometime for Bowtech to come out with another model that fits my ogre draw length and the stars have finally aligned. Put some cash down on a brand new all black Destroyer 340 Now Im just waiting on the next pay check, or two

Congrats! I’d love to own the new Destroyer. But I don’t think I could convince my wife at this point.

How did you decide on the 340 vs. the 350?

Well I didnt really get to decide, my draw length did. The 350 is a 25″-30″ draw and the 340 is a 26″-31″. The Bow I have been shooting the last few years was the Bowtech Tomkat. It was maxed out at a 31″ draw with almost a full half inch loop. Being 6’6″ and having the wing span of a small flock of whooping cranes usually means that you have limited availability of products

Ya, but I bet you get some SPEEEEEEEED out of that kind of a draw length!!!!!!

Finally got a camera for some pics.

Couldn”t be happier with the bow! Ended up putting an Octane sight and Trophy Taker Smackdown rest on it with a Diamond stabilizer and black quiver to top it off. 9th arrow I shot out of it ‘Robbin Hooded’ my 8th. Granted they were shot low (hadn’t moved pins yet) and only at 20 yards, but thats what Id call out of the box consistency and fine dealer setup any day!
