Is anybody shooting? Been quiet in here.

Nobody is talking about super fast compounds, new arrows, messed up tuning or even about how sore muscles got over winter.

Whats going on did everybody forget about their bows?

I gave mine the hard look last night, but then decided to go work getting some fishing stuff ready instead.

I’m hoping to get back into the shooting routine by next week.

I’ve been shooting. Got new cams and a new string last week. Having problems keeping my peep turned the right dyrecshun(in my best southern drawl). Headed to the archery shop this afternoon for another tweek. Need it by the weekend as I’m hoping to put a WI gobbler down with it.

Ordered a new 3-D deer target from Cabelas last week. Can’t wait for him to arrive. Been shopping for a climbing stand and reading topo maps of some public ground close to my place. Once I get through thunder chicken season, it will be time to start scouting these grounds. Probably knocking on a few doors to see if I can hunt.

You running a string loop? That will keep the peep.

3-4 times per week, out to 90 yards. Elk is approaching…..just not quick enough!

Yup, I messed with the string loop and it simply didn’t help. Put her in the press last night and it’s ready to go. New string and cams, just taking a little to get settled in. Also got to meet some IDO members at Average Joes last night.

Got home and went 3 for 4 on golf tees at 18 yards a couple times. That’s gonna have to be good enough for this weekend.

Yup I try to shoot everyday being I belong to Rapids archery club. If it’s raining or I want to BS I’m at the shop shooting. Great seeing you last night Kooty. Nicew to see you made it home with the kids al hyped up
