My homemade arrow saw

For the past few years, I’ve been making a bunch of arrows for friends and family, and although I believe in supporting our local archery shops, it gets spendy getting a few dozen arrows cut! I got some ideas from a do-it-yourself section in an archery site, and here she is. The saw is a mini cut off saw from Harbor freight, the rest was just scrap laying around the garage. I’ve got a whopping 24.99 invested, sure beats 150 plus for a arrow saw. Oh, and it cuts clean and square!

Nothing wrong at all with doing it yourself, I wish I could make the blanks and really save some money.

Great looking setup. Square the ends off with an ASD after you make your cuts and you’ll be set!

    Nice looking setup Brian

Nothing like being able to work on your own arrows, saves time and money allowing you to experiment and tune your own equipment in the time frame that meets your needs.
