My friend who had his bow shop broken into and I just returned from a Caribbean Cruise with our wives and 3 other couples and had some good news.

A police officer in Marshall County stopped a car for speeding and saw several compound bows in the back seat of the car. Some how the officer had heard of the breakin in Waterloo. He called the Waterloo Police Dept. and to make a long story short, the bows were some that were taken during the breakin. 6 bows were recovered from the car and 4-5 others from pawn shops in Marshalltown and Ottumwa area.

The investigation is still on going so hope they are able to trace some of the other bows down. If anyone happens to see any new bows in any pawn shops, please let me know or call the WPD.

Thats good news. I think I seen somewhere it was Mikes archery? Is that on Falls? And does he sell bowtech and diamond bows. I don’t know anything about the break in but I do need some help with a diamond nuclear ice bow I bought my 6 year old.

I love it when things happen the way you hope they would. Hope this kid/guy rolled over on everybody else and they all take some form of heat.

Thanks for the update and I’m glad to hear that they recovered some of the bows. Hopefully they will catch the other thieves as well.

It was Mikes Archery on Falls Ave. If you need help with the Diamond, he is the guy to see. Last I heard, the butt head at the pawn shop in Ottumwa was not helping getting the other bows back. Also heard that he also might get hooked up if he wants to play that way. Bought 5 brand new bows with the tags still on them for $700.00. Thats less than just one of thoes bows are worth!!!!!
