Well in the search for a bow for my Wife and Daughter here is where I’m at. For my daughter I’ve narrowed dowm ny search to either a Matthews Genesis or a Fuse Freestyle. Both come in PINK ( Ouch )which I’m sure she will think is way cool!!!! I also looked at both the Diamond Razors Edge and the Bowtech Soldier but I think the lowest draw weight on both of these may be to high at this time. Both bows look like a excellent choice for her next bow if this archery thing works out. As for the wife I’m looking at either the Matthews Mustang or Matthews Ignition. I have found what lookes to be a good deal on a used one of each. I hope to get her out this weekened to take a look at them and see if either of them will work for her. As for a bow for myself I’ve decided to wait until I have them both taken care of first. I did take a look at some Mission Bows that looked like great bows for the money. I just want to get them taken care of to see how much $ I have remaining to spend on Myself. Thanks everyone on your response to my previous post. All the Info. got me started looing in the right direction. If anyone cares to share any thoughts on any of the bows I’m looking at or any bows that I may have overlooked please feel free to let me know. Also if anyone know anyone looking to sell a LH bow with Appx a 25″ draw in the 40Lb range please let me know. Thanks.

The diamond Nuclear Ice Comes in Pink Digital Camo The genesis is nice because its the same bow at used by the schools and she’ll be a step ahead there. Plus you can change the limbs to a higher poundage at a later date and you don’t need to have the draw stop so you can shoot it too if you want. Say for bow fishing

I just bought a Mission Menace for our 9 year old. Very happy with it. The best thing about it is he will not grow out of it for a long time. I am thinking about also getting one for my wife. 17″-30″ draw 16-52 lb draw weight. All this is done with the cam that it comes with. Don’t have to put it in a press or nothing. And they do come in pink.

Good luck! Just too many options like you said. I know which one I’m getting just picking a color is hard.

I just had my daughter (10 years old) shoot at Mouldy’s Archery last night for the first time and she did great. She tried their best selling youth bow, the Apprentice by Bear. It adjusts from 18# – 50# and the price seems reasonable. ($280.00 with sites, quiver & rest) We’ll have her shoot a couple more brands but she really liked that one.
