Robin Hood

    Was shooting bow tonight st F&D Archery in Osseo, WI. Very fun league. when i herd a crack that didnt sound good. well went to score and Bam robin hood. shot a 20 that round. pic will be posted tomorrow.

    New to archery, are these common? I ve heard about them havent seen or done it yet. I did see a Myth Busters where they where trying to do this and they never did get a Robin hood. Even with a five gallon pail full of arrows and a machine shooting the arrow.

    First of all Congrats!

    Ford, secondly they happen. Some people more frequent then others. I have shot one in 11 years. However, when I’m on, I tend shoot different areas so I don’t wreck a $27 set up.

    I’ve busted lots of knocks but never had a true robin hood. Congrats I didn’t realize F&D had a league. I’ll have to look into that.

    My cousin has 3 of them. I’ve shot hundreds more arrows than him without out one. He’s obviously a better shot than I am.

    Kooty, I shot 9 years with out one. I got Stacie all set up with her PSE a few years ago and within 2 months she had one before I did.

    I did one within 2 months of ever shooting a bow,(pure luck) But also have had 2 done to me by others at 3D shoots
