Any interest in another GTG shoot?

I’d be up for that too if I don’t have to work at the shoot. But I’m ok with either place.

Just a suggestion, what about having the GTG on May 2nd at Rapids? The Rapids Archery Club is having a 3D shoot that Sunday already. They always have a nice set up and it wouldn’t involve any work for us to coordinate club resources or set up / tear down.

It would be more costly though. Their shoots run $15 for 30 targets and there would be many other shooters there than any other weekend we choose. Like I said – it is just a suggestion.

What time frame are we looking at. We have Turkey seasons here through May, so sometime in June??? Lets try and get a couple of dates put together, and then we can nail it down. If you guys want to do it here, we have 40 Rinehart targets to choose from. I’d probably set out 30-35. We have room for camping, if anyone wants to camp the Friday night of, or Saturday night of…

Is anything moving forward with this? I would go to either location to shoot with a bunch of IDOers and have some fun. Maybe a fresh post fropm one of you that knows about organizing something like this?

We are working on details for a similar shoot/gtg from last year as we speak. Currently, it is looking like the end of July/beginning of August at the same place as last year. They have a nice set up with Pavilion for grilling, sitting down and chatting. Anyone and everyone will be invited and welcomed to join in on the fun. It was a great event last year that saw some Youth and Females involved, so bring along the whole family or significant other! Hopefully, we can have something nailed down before the 4th of July.

    Stay tuned for further information!

Maybe this year I will read the start time correctly and not be 3 hours late… Count me in

Another thought would be meeting at the R100 in Sparta.

I know I am kinda the FNG around here but I would be in for an event like this since I am new to archery this season.

Like I said, Everyone will be Invited and Welcomed.

It wil be held just outside of Hastings, I think Rosemount is the correct town? Same place as last year!
