what kind of peep do you use?

I have used the $6 basic peep for years with great success. But I have always went through the hassle of changing peeps between hunting and target shooting. Mainly because of some low light conditions encountered in true hunting situations. But today I ran into a new peep made by specialty archery, called a super peep and it has interchangeable apertures. Now I can fine tune my peep and never need a bow press. Heck, I can tune it in my stand. So far, this thing is awesome! If you’re looking for another upgrade on your bow, check it out.

I just put on a string splitter and have been very happy with it so far. No more surgical tubing! I hated that stuff…

Specialty Archery – Hooded Super Peep

The kids and I just use the standard hooded housing for hunting and screw in the center for 3D and target

    i like my G5 too!

the only negative i’ve heard about these peeps is they tend to slide… i havent had that happen yet, is there any validity to that, or do ppl just need something to complain about?

I think adjustable peeps are the best. You can set the hole for what you need for light conditions, I had the old style and a 1/16″ hole on my Darton, their nice to fine tune your shot.

Couldn’t agree more Dan! I have shot the meta peeps and about any other brand. The splitters worry me with so much surface area on your string. But guys like them. To me the Adjustable peeps are perfect. I have a 4X lens for my sight and if I wanted a clarifier I could just screw it in. Awsome setup!

I shoot the G5 myself right new but as soon as I need a new string I’m going to the super too! Tired it at league and loved it.

I don’t use a peep sight. I use an Anchor Sight by Archery Innovations

This allows to see if I’m torquing my bow and it gives me a few more minutes of shooting light versus looking through a peep. Here’s a picture of it off their website.

I got rid of my peep a few years ago. I now shoot the “Hindsite” sight. It eleiminates bow torque and I can shoot with both eyes open.
