MBRB Bowhunts

Did anyone draw for any of these hunts? I was drawn for Battle Creek. Has anyone ever hunted this park before and have any tips on possible stand locations etc. Any info would help. Thanks.

My buddy and his parents were drawn for the last week in sept on the doe only season and for october 30, 31 and nov 1st. Im not quite sure where though…

I ended up drawing Vadnais again…Not sure about Battle Creek, as I have not participated in that one.

Does anyone know how these hunts work. I possibly have to drop off my 2 girls at day care in the am but my wife possibly will just go in late these days and I would come out of the woods midday to get them on the school bus and to pre-school or are you in the feild the whole day.
The response I recieved from the MBRB is you will have to talk to your hunt coordinator. I just wish I knew before the meeting so I could make arrangements and buy any items like ladder sticks etc if they dont allow screw in tree steps. This organization is kind of making me mad they want to have hunters do these hunts but they could at least give you a rules sheet like fishing tourneys do when you sign up to fish them.

Youre not allowed to walk around while on stand because you would ruin others’ hunts. So in your situation, i dont think they would allow it…
