I am in the market for a single pin sight, one which will not break the bank. I’m not into fancy just a single pin sighted in at 20 yards is all I need.
With the peepers not as good as the once were, I need something a lot brighter than the antique I have now.
Lets say something around 35-50 bucks……any ideas?

Thanks in advance you bow gurus

    Brett,

This one is at sportsmansguide.com not a bad sight for the price, 59 bucks.

The GWS® Pro Hunter Sight has a full 5′ of fiber optics wrapped around a micro adjustable Scope. This Sight is crafted with CNC machined aluminum with nylon bushings which provide smooth and quiet operation.

Micro windage allen wrench adjustable (allen wrench included). Comes with quiver bracket, yardage tape and all mounting screws. 4 x 2″.

Bret, I have a couple (NIB) HHA 4100s left over from last year. They were $85…But I’ll send you one for $45+postage. They are similar to the one pictured above but with CAD machined alloy construction(much more durable) instead of plastic/nylon and micro adj pin assembly. It also accepts an accessory light for low light shooting… They are great sights for that price!

I used to shoot a single pin sighted in at 20 yards before I switched to my HHA. The sutup I used seemed to work well and was cheaper I had a Cobra scout sight tray with a tru glo tritium pin I think I only payed like 20 bucks for the pin at gander mountian hear is a link for the pin http://www.truglo.com/content/products/archery/pins/tfo_pin.asp hope this helps

Thanks everyone for your time and responces.

mossyoak, I am now on the hunt for the true glo tritium pin. That looks like it will serve me great for this season and I do have the cobra sight tray on the bow now. Just can’t see that piece of crap pin with my peepers anymore
Next year I might have to stick some money into the Mathews with some state of the art updates

Brett, I used to shoot the TuruGlo Tritium pin and that thing is fantastic. It would glow all the time, even in the dark. I used it as my 20 yard pin and had regular pins(no tritium pins) for the rest.

Thanks for the info Rob. It is always a feel good when you hear from people that like a product before you put it on.
