I want to start out by saying Thank You Schaffer Performance Archery. I can not believe the level of customer service they offer. You ARE NOT going to get this attention to detail and service from a big box store ever. I test shot a bunch of bows and was able to go back and forth until I found what I really liked. They asked the questions that needed to be asked and set me up with something that I was very happy with. I had some numbers in my head on cost, but wanted to try everything out and then make a choice. I ended up choosing the Mission by Mathews. I really liked the feel and smoothness of this bow. It is nice that it is a Mathews product, as I hear their customer service is top notch if you ever need to use it.

Here is what I ended up with:

    Mission Eliminator 28″ draw

Schaffer Opposition 4 pin sight (Camo)

Schaffer MAT-1 GEN Arrow Rest (Camo)

    Limb Saver Stabilizer

Thank you, John, Jason, And Cleve! You made it very easy and enjoyable.

I am off to go give it the first workout.

Congratulations hunting4walleyes on our new bow purchase!

And thank you for supporting our paid sponsor – Schaffer Performance Archery . We personally went after them because of their in-depth archery equipment knowledge and we knew from personal experience that their customer service is second to none! We wanted to be associated with an archery dealer who we could trust and introduce them to our members. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and I hope other members here who are considering purchasing a new bow take note and give Schaffer Performance Archery a try.

Their archery shop is located in Burnsville (click on their ad on the left hand side of this page). They also manufacture and sell an excellent opposition site and a drop away arrow rest.

One other note… Schaffer also has a good selection of used bows to choose from. Or if you decided to purchase a new one, they will list your old bow for sale on consignment.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but your experience parallels the experience of many here and elsewhere. As Brad mentioned, this is exactly why they’re a sponsor @ IDO Hunting.

Being in the market for a bow myself, I’m especially pleased to hear that they let you shoot everything you wanted, and didn’t force an “up-sell” on you when you had figured out what fit you best.

Congrats on your new bow, now bring on the kill-pics! Thanks also for supporting one of our sponsors here. I see no reason to go elsewhere!

    Joel,

I shot every bow in the shop. I was very surprised that the one that I liked and the one the saleman was talking up was the cheapest bow I shot. I bought my first bow there 6 years ago and will buy my next bow there when that day comes.

Congrats on the new bow! That Mission is a sweet shooter, I had a x4 last year, great bow. Can’t say enough about the boys down at Schaffer!

Congrats on the new bow and yes the Mission bow is a sweet bow for the money!

You are going to really like it. My lil brother has a X3????. Thanks for supporting our site sponsors. Glad to hear the guys down at Schaffers treated you right. Honestly, it does not surprise me, but just good to hear. That is the exact way I have been treated since I started going there about 2 years ago.
