    Like I mentioned earlier in a post, I just started last season
    with this:

    PSE Stinger
    59-60#DWt 29″L
    3 pin tru-glo site w/tube and pro-view peep
    Wisker Biscuit
    2 Blade Rage 100gr broadheads
    Carbon Extremes w/4″vanes & Carbon Whitetail 4560’s w/ 3″ vanes
    Custom-camo string w/ 2 super string leeches and 2 string spiders
    Limbsaver x-coil stabilizer/deadners
    Super-Quad limb silencers
    p.o.s. 5 arrow quiver(need to upgrade this)

    Hey, it worked last year (had to sell one of my .357’s to get it )

    what do you guys think of my beginner’s setup? this is my first year bow hunting — so far im having a blast at the practice range, cant wait to hit the woods!

    bear game over 29″/70lb (only shooting 60lbs right now)

    The one thing I can tell you…….you will never forget your first bow or first bow kill

    If it feels good to you and you shoot it straight, it is an awesome setup

    Your first bow sounds great! Just keep on practicing with it especially in real hunting scenarios. It’s more about the confidence in your hunting equipment than the equipment itself.

    Welcome Big Hunter That set up looks good! i have heard good things about Game Over and the arrow choice w/ GPI and 3 blade Rage looks like a good fit for a beginner Good luck and post pics when you smack one

    New setup as of last week:

    2008 Bowtech Guardian 29 inch draw 61 lbs
    Beman ICS Carbon arrows
    Grim Reaper expandables
    Old HHA 3 pin sight that is super bright
    Trophy taker shakey taker drop away
    No stabilizer, no limb savers and no after market shock reduction/ vibration reduction because this bow doesnt need it,
    Truball titan release
    Quickee combo 4 arrow quiver

    Mathews Switchback set at 65lbs.
    Rest- Muzzy Zero Effect.
    Sight- HHA single pin.
    Arrows- Maxima hunters
    Quiver- Mathews web
    Release-Jim Fletcher Fletch ‘o’ matic T and a free flight.
    Broadheads- G5 Strikers (100gr).
    No stabilizer….bow is plenty heavy

    Backup Bow: Jennings Rackmaster @65lbs.
